What is the Lodge like?

Our 12,000 sf. grandiose, rustic, and luxurious lodge overlooks a beautiful and serene lake. The Lodge is the main guest headquarters with eight impressive suites. The entertainment and lounge room showcases a stunning view of the lakefront and surrounding mountains, a big screen TV, and a massive natural stone fireplace. Gourmet farm-to-table meals are also served in the Great Room, which overlooks our beautiful private lake. Grab a glass of wine, watch the Chef cook your meal or meander onto the picturesque Lodge Deck. The Lodge Loft contains captivating views of iconic Big Sky country, a game room, executive office with a Mac computer, printer, steam room, infrared sauna, and a private massage room!

What is the Lakehouse like?

The elegant and inviting lake house has a hot tub and sauna. Play shuffleboard, pool, or ping pong on the deck that overlooks our private lake. Take a swim or relax on the sandy beach at the water’s edge. Go Jet Skiing, paddle boarding/boating, canoeing, and even play beach volleyball and yard games. The lake house also hosts salon services such as manicures, pedicures, and deluxe hair treatments.

What airport do I fly into?

Missoula International Airport is the closest public airport, and for our guests arriving by private aircraft  Minuteman Aviation.

How to I get from the airport to the ranch?

We offer complimentary round trip transportation to and from Missoula International Airport or Minuteman Aviation.

How many guests does the ranch accommodate?

RiverView Ranch prides itself on being a private luxury retreat that offers 8 spacious and elegant rustic suites in the Lodge, which accommodate a maximum of 24 guests.

Are you open year round?

Yes! Our beautiful property is open 365 days a year so you can plan any holiday, vacation, or celebration anytime you want.                                                                       

 

Do you have phone service and WiFi?

RiverView Ranch does have WiFi in the Lodge, Lakehouse, and Barn. The password will be given to you upon check-in (we know how important it is to stay in touch or post Insta-worthy photos!) There are also landlines available in all rooms. AT&T seems to be the best wireless network that works at the ranch.

What is check in and check out time?

Standard check-in time is 4pm and checkout time is 11:30 am.

What are the dining options at the ranch?

Before your arrival, our team will reach out to request any dietary limitations, allergies, and special requests.

Guests will experience extraordinary meals specially prepared by our private in-house chef. Our on-site Sommelier can offer impeccable recommendations for wine pairing from our complimentary selection of premium house wines and beers. Indulge in our award-winning reserve cellar of premium vintages (premium wines at additional cost). Hearty family-style feasts and mouthwatering multi-course wine pairing experiences await in our magnificent Lodge Great Room using farm-to-table ingredients. Guests can also enjoy an authentic outdoor chuck wagon dinner where the finest offerings are prepared before your eyes. Whether it's Angus prime steak and ribs, bison, or even the fresh trout you just caught in our lake, we can assure it will be cooked to your liking and satisfaction. A lake-side dinner with fresh corn and local vegetables grilled over a BBQ flame, with scrumptious classics like baked beans, skillet potatoes, and fresh garden salads await you! Can I stay at the ranch and not use the meal plan?

RiverView Ranch is all-inclusive, therefore the meal plan is non-negotiable but we can alter the menu for dietary restrictions (see below).

Your personal guest services specialist is more than happy to assist you with any dietary restrictions and preferences to see that your vacation is worry and stress free!

Is there a horseback riding program?

RiverView Ranch prides itself on an equestrian program which can be customized for all ages and riding abilities.

Is RiverView Ranch dog friendly?

Yes, we know that our furry friends not only feel like family but are family! Our Dog Package rates are an additional $100 (per night/pet) and is payable at the time of reservation. Each suite features a dog bed as well as food and water bowls. While outdoors, they must remain on a leash (Montana is home to many wild predators). *Dogs may not be left unattended at any time in guest accommodations. *Dogs must have current vaccinations. *Dogs may not participate in Resort activities (guided hikes are the only exception). *Housekeeping will not enter a guest accommodation if a dog is unattended. *Guests are responsible for cleaning up after their dog

How do I get around the property?

We offer transportation via our ranch vehicles where a chauffeur is more than happy to show you around. We also recommend hiking and biking as a wonderful way to see the property and to get a workout in!

Are gratuities included?

RiverView Ranch is a gratuity-free property.

Is there a resort fee?

At RiverView Ranch we want your stay to be relaxing, stress free and enjoyable from the second you arrive and until checkout! All Ranch accommodations are subject to a 20% Resort Fee. The Ranch Resort Fee covers the following:  

• Round-trip airport transportation

• Local Phone Calls

• Wireless Internet access (Wi-Fi) 

• Snacks and beverages restocked in your luxury suite daily 

• No resort fee is applied to salon services, premier wine list, or off site guided excursions
   

 

How much of a deposit is required to make a reservation?

Upon booking your reservation at RiverView Ranch you must provide a deposit of 50%( which includes the 20% resort fee). The balance of the amount due must be paid 60 days prior to your arrival. If your arrival is within 60 days of booking your reservation, the total amount is due at the time of booking. Please note the final balance will be automatically charged to your credit card 60 days before your arrival. If the deposits are not received by that time, your reservation will be cancelled and the deposit will be non refundable.

What is  the cancellation policy?

All reservations are subject to a 60-day cancellation policy. Cancellation notification must occur at least 61 days prior to your arrival date to receive a partially refunded deposit. In the unfortunate event you must cancel your reservation, we will refund your deposit, less a transaction fee equal to 20% of the deposit amount. Cancellation notifications made within 60 days of arrival are ineligible for a refund. Should it be necessary for you to depart earlier or arrive later than your confirmed dates, you will be responsible for the original reserved room nights of your intended stay. Please note that due to our intimate size we do have a very firm policy in regards to cancellation, and we do encourage trip insurance for your reservations with the resort. If in the event a weather incident requires a cancellation of your reservation, RiverView Ranch Retreat cannot be held responsible and we will not accept cancellations outside of our normal policies.

Can I do laundry at the ranch?

Yes, complimentary laundry service is available!

What should I pack for my stay at RiverView Ranch?

We encourage hiking boots, jeans and layers in the winter months: snow pants, snow boots, hats, gloves, and scarves. In the spring and summer months: mid to light weight jackets, sweaters, long sleeve shirts, tennis shoes and or hiking boots. We have complimentary cowboy boots and hats you may use while at the ranch, as well as helmets. And of course, don’t forget swimwear in the summer months!

What is the smoking policy at RiverView Ranch? 

RiverView Ranch is a completely non smoking property.
