When will I have access to the ranch on the day of my wedding?

You will have access to the venue for 12 hours. All events must end by 10 pm unless you have purchased a ranch buyout – if you are also having your rehearsal and dinner on site you can start set up at 4 pm the day before.

 

What time does my wedding rehearsal start?

2 hour rehearsals: 5 pm – 7 pm the day before the wedding.

4 hour rehearsals: 5 pm – 9 pm the day before the wedding (includes time for catered dinner after, we will provide you with list of caterers is needed).

 

How much of a deposit is required to make a reservation?

Upon booking your reservation at RiverView Ranch you must provide a deposit of 50% plus the 20% resort fee. The balance of the amount due must be paid 90 days prior to your arrival. If your arrival is within 90 days of booking your reservation the total amount is due at the time of booking. Please note the final balance will be automatically charged to your credit card 90 days before your arrival. If the deposits are not received your reservation will be cancelled and the deposit will be non refundable. 

 

What is the cancellation policy?

All reservations of are subject to a 90-day cancellation policy. Cancellation notification must occur at least 91 days prior to your arrival date to receive a partially refunded deposit. In the unfortunate event you must cancel your reservation, we will refund your deposit, less a transaction fee equal to 20% of the deposit amount. Cancellation notifications made within 90 days of arrival are ineligible for a refund. Please note that due to our intimate size we do have a very firm policy in regards to cancellation, and we do encourage trip insurance for your reservations with the resort. If a weather incident requires a cancellation of your reservation, RiverView Ranch Retreat cannot be held responsible and we will not accept cancellations outside of our normal policies. You are encouraged to reserve a tent if you are planning an outside wedding.

 

What time are vendors allowed to arrive on the day of the event?

Vendors are able to start set up at 8am the day of the event.

 

Are there payment plans available?

We are happy to accept a payment plan, however the full amount is due 90 days prior to your event.

 

Is there an extra cleaning fee?

The cleaning fee is included in the 20% resort fee
 

Am I required to have liability insurance?

Yes, liability insurance is required naming RVR Estates LLC as an additional insured. If you need help or more information, we are more than happy to provide names of insurers you can contact!

 

Am I required to have cancellation insurance?

Although it is not required, we strongly encourage and recommend you to purchase some! Even with careful and thoughtful planning any unexpected event (extreme weather, accidents, illness, unexpected military deployment etc.) can derail your big day!

 

Is RiverView Ranch dog friendly?

RiverView ranch is dog friendly but only for our guests staying in the lodge. We unfortunately do not allow wedding guests to bring dogs.

 

Are fireworks allowed?

Fireworks are not allowed on property due to extreme fire risk.

 

Are there restrictions on candles?

Due to high fire danger candles are not allowed inside any buildings.

 

Do you allow confetti?

Yes, we allow confetti as long as it is biodegradable.
